Yet More Stealth Jihad

Creeping sharia continues to creep right under our very noses. The Islamification of the West continues apace, but we seem to be sleeping through it all. And those who warn of this are blasted by deceived elites and a duped mainstream media. We had an excellent example of this just today.

South Australian Senator Cory Bernardi has just released a new book called The Conservative Revolution and already it is being blasted by the secular left and our MSM. He covers plenty of issues here, including the war on the family, the war on life, and the war on our freedoms.

Part of the war on the West and its freedoms is coming from Islam. Yet for daring to even raise this issue the lefties are going ballistic. Hostile articles in the media are painting the Senator as Attila the Hun, and political lefties are tearing into his comments on Islam.

For example, while Bernardi said this, “I believe that by stripping God and religious principles from our culture (and our politics) we have become a nation which does not know which port it is sailing to,” Labor’s Anthony Albanese said this in response: “He says he’s pro-religion but he’s against any religion that isn’t the same as his.”

That was a dumb, albeit typical, Labor response. The truth is, not all religions are the same. One religion says ‘love your enemies’ while the other one says ‘slay your enemies wherever you find them’. Thus Bernardi is 100 per cent right to champion a real religion of peace (Christianity) which made the free West possible, while warning about a tyrannical political ideology (Islam).

So with all this delusion and confusion about the real nature of Islam, the West is sleeping while case after case of creeping sharia takes place. Let me highlight just a few recent examples of this from around the globe. Let’s begin in the UK with this story:

“Furious M&S customers threatened to boycott the store last night for allowing Muslim checkout staff to refuse to serve customers who want to pay for alcohol or pork. Managers at a London store told the workers they could ask any shoppers trying to buy the items to wait until a different till was available, it emerged yesterday.

“One shopper said: ‘I had one bottle of champagne, and the lady, who was wearing a headscarf, was very apologetic but said she could not serve me. She told me to wait until another member of staff was available. I was taken aback. I’ve never come across that before.’

“Last night, Marks & Spencer said the advice had been given in error and was not consistent with its national policy. But customers bombarded the store’s Facebook page to complain, while another site was set up calling on shoppers to boycott M&S. More than 1,500 others put posts on MailOnline.

“Customer Matt Syson wrote: ‘If you have Christian workers who wish to refuse the sale of ladies’ garments to male homosexuals or men’s trousers to lesbians, I do hope you will stand by those workers’ religious or personal beliefs. My family and I shall no longer purchase any goods from your company due to the implementation of this “one rule system” that creates further division and hatred within our communities.’

“Angela Phillips posted: ‘If M&S go ahead with this they are going to lose so many loyal customers. ‘If they do not want to serve people with pork or alcohol they shouldn’t work in the food hall. Simple!’ Heather Playdon posted on the store’s Facebook page: ‘I shan’t be shopping in M&S any more. The quintessentially British retailer bows down to Muslim beliefs. And in turn alienates the majority of Christian and non-religious customers. Outrageous’.”

My next example comes from Italy: “A nationalist party has launched a complaint at the decision of some schools and kindergartens in the city of Turin to shut down all Christmas Nativity celebrations, or remove all mention of Christianity from them, out of fear of ‘offending the sensibilities’ of the schools’ growing Muslim population.

“Roberto Carbonero, the director of Lega Nord (the Northern League), said that if confirmed, the decision by some school principals ‘would be a very serious matter which is unprecedented’. ‘Such a decision is completely unacceptable,’ he said, adding that the city, not the individual schools, should have competence to make such decisions. ‘The “city of inclusion” fantasized about on the Left cannot become a “city of discrimination for Catholics”,’ Carbonero said.

“‘It is not acceptable that, in favor of uncontrolled immigration…our citizens, our children, must give up their own traditions and their own culture, he said. I’m not staying with the school [of thought] that we should be ashamed of the Catholic base of our society and its history.”

My third case comes from Ontario, Canada: “Mother Teresa Catholic secondary school is turning a second-floor office into an Islamic prayer room – the first high school in the city, private or public, to do so. Carpet will soon cover the tile flooring, speakers will be installed and prayer mats purchased to provide the school’s Muslim students, estimated at around two dozen, with a quiet and private place to pray.

“The idea has been in the works since the end of the last school year after a group of Muslim students lobbied administration to create the space. ‘They’re members of our school community. We want to ensure that all our students feel welcome, that they feel that they belong,’ said Principal Ana Paula Fernandes.”

A few quick comments here. Does anyone imagine that an Islamic school in say, Iran, would allow a Christian prayer room in it? And why is this Catholic school not standing up for its own beliefs? Will they allow Satanist or atheist students to have their own rooms as well to do their thing?

No wonder we are losing. My last example goes back to Britain, where more moonbattery is allowing Islam to take further hold of that once great nation: “Husbands living in a ‘harem’ with multiple wives have been cleared to claim state benefits for all their different partners.

“A Muslim man with four spouses – which is permitted under Islamic law – could receive £10,000 a year in income support alone. He could also be entitled to more generous housing and council tax benefit, to reflect the fact his household needs a bigger property.

“Ministers have decided that, even though bigamy is a crime in Britain, polygamous marriages can be recognised formally by the state – provided they took place overseas, in countries where they are legal. The outcome will chiefly benefit Muslim men with more than one wife. Ministers estimate that up to a thousand polygamous partnerships exist in Britain, although they admit there is no exact record. Potentially, the benefits bill for income support could reach £10m.”

So here we have more examples of how the West is sleeping through its own destruction – and in some cases, is actively helping in the process. Everywhere we find stealth jihad and creeping sharia at work, and everywhere we find the West asleep, apathetic or complicit in its own suicide.

The West cannot last long in such circumstances. Unless it snaps out of its slumber real quick, there won’t be much of the West left to defend anymore.

  1. Oops – just noticed that one of my examples (the polygamy one) is older, and not a brand new example. But it is still a telling case, regardless of its age.

  2. Some public Sydney hospitals also have Islamic Prayer Rooms set up at taxpayers expense.
I heard of a council that was planning to spend up to $45,000 to accommodate for private pool sessions for Muslim women. The women were calling for screening to shield their swim sessions from view and they have ratepayers in uproar.
A number of pools around Melbourne hold women’s only sessions mainly for Muslim women who can’t under ordinary circumstances go for a swim in a pool with men.

  3. I have just been reading some excerpts from Cory Bernardi’s new book and the MSM comments which followed.
I hope Cory will prove to be a strong new leader for the truth in Australia and not be squashed by other members of the Liberals.
We need people like him and yourself to guide us in the right direction.

  4. Message for Anthony Albanese: What is so extreme about the idea that we should not be killing unborn babies in Australia? Labor says it is the party for the weak and powerless, the vunerable and those who have no voice. You should welcome and support Bernardi’s pro-life call. If you are true to their founding principles of your party you should support the call to let our kids live. Anthony Albanese, are you big enough for the challenge?

  5. Isn’t it amazing how the media can twist things. Perhaps not considering who is driving them. Look at The Chronical’s article “Albanese lashes Bernardi claim on abortion ‘birth control'”. They make out that Bernardi is upset because, “that some Australian women were using abortion for birth control.” That’s not it at all. He, and we, are outraged that Australian women are killing their babies, and we think our political leaders should be concerned about that too.

  6. Hello Bill,

I decided to buy Cory Bernadi’s book when Connor Court Publishing notified me of its imminent publication, however Bill Shorten’s attack on Cory has made me decide to not wait any longer and I shall order it tonight.

On the subject of Islam don’t forget that the Australian Catholic University (ACU) has set up the Fethullah Gulen Chair of Islamic Studies, with the first occupant of the chair being a Turkish Moslem.

Also Islam’s worming its way into Australia is being assisted by the Saint Columba Mission Institute which apparently is based at the ACU Strathfield campus. They have published a chart which purports that Islam has the Golden Rule, and also an extract from a book by John Esposito, a well known apologist for Islam.

  7. I have just finished writing to Cory Bernardi to congratulate him on his book, and also to Anthony Albanese to advise him that he is really out of step with mainstream Australia. I feel that I am right saying this, as I speak with people at the shopping centre, as well as with those people I know at Church and various community groups. Most people appear to fear the creeping sharia, and are resentful that the children are being deprived of Nativity plays and carols in their early years by overly leftwing Teachers. Most also fear the thought of so called ‘gay marriage’. Many speak of their children living in de facto relationships with shame, and seem to be amazed that this has happened in ‘our family’. Yes Australians – even the non religious, are concerned about our society these days.
God grant us the strength to keep on praying for our Country – even if it sometimes appears to be hopeless.

  8. Concerning most issues. What most people haven’t realised is that throughout time most people still expect good to prevail. However if good is slowly bludgeoned into being abnormal or racist or politically of no significance by the acceptance of all things morally wrong then evil will become the benchmark in all things. Imagine if you will a movie where the wrong doer always wins and the good guy gets killed or jailed and you will have some idea of what’s coming our way.
God wiped out his creation once because he said that the thoughts of humans were in all things evil.

  9. “speakers will be installed……. a quiet and private place to pray.”
Huh? Speakers for a quiet place? How does that work?
