If a group of evil conspirators plotted to destroy the West, top on their list would be the plan to ravage it with everything sexual. Unleashing a tsunami of porn, sleaze and over-the-top sexuality would be a leading means by which the destruction of the West could be implemented.
And this is not just the stuff of fantasy. As I have written elsewhere, cultural Marxists have long sought to do this very thing. They have long made known their tactics in how to take over the West from within. When they tell us what they plan to do, we better take notice.
As an example of this, in his 1958 book The Naked Communist, ex-FBI agent Cleon Skousen offered 45 declared goals of the communists in their attempt to take over America. Here are some of those which have to do with marriage, family, morality and sexuality:
23. Control art critics and directors of art museums. “Our plan is to promote ugliness, repulsive, meaningless art.”
24. Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them “censorship” and a violation of free speech and free press.
25. Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio, and TV.
26. Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as “normal, natural, healthy.”
40. Discredit the family as an institution. Encourage promiscuity and easy divorce.
41. Emphasize the need to raise children away from the negative influence of parents. Attribute prejudices, mental blocks and retarding of children to suppressive influence of parents.
Does any of this ring a bell? If it seems that morality is taking a beating, the family is under threat, and sexuality is running amok, it is not just by accident. Many radicals know that unfettered sexuality is a great way to undermine and demoralise a nation. And the examples of sexuality out of control are there to be seen on a daily basis.
Consider just a few recent ones. In the UK we find this: “Couples are to have sex in front of a studio audience for the first time in a new Channel 4 programme called Sex Box. The couples will be shielded from view in an opaque, sound-proof room attached to a studio, and will emerge to discuss their experiences immediately afterwards with a panel of sex experts….
“After their time in the sex box, the couples will talk to agony aunt Mariella Frostrup, psychotherapist Phillip Hodson, sex and relationship expert Tracey Cox and US sex columnist Dan Savage. The programme will form part of Channel 4’s Campaign for Real Sex Season.”
And in Sweden public masturbation seems OK: “Public masturbation does not necessarily violate the law, according to two separate rulings from a Swedish court. On June 6, a 65-year-old man began to masturbate in the water at Drevviken beach, a lake just south of Stockholm, leading to a charge of sexual assault. The Södertörn District Court ruled that, although ‘the man exposed himself and masturbated on this occasion,’ he violated no law because he did not specifically target anyone.”
In the US explicit sex education is being forced even on kindergarten kids: “The Chicago Public Schools this year are mandating that the district’s kindergarten classes include sex education, fulfilling a proposal President Barack Obama supported in 2003 when he served in the Illinois state senate and later defended when he ran for president in the 2008 election cycle.
“The new sex education program mandated in Chicago public schools will – like the SIECUS curriculum – instruct kindergartners about same-sex relationships. ‘Students will also take a look at the different family structures that exist in today’s society’.”
These are just a few of many recent examples of the sexualisation of society and of our children. And as I say, all this is not happening by accident. The sexual revolutionaries have long targeted the West, and know that the anything-goes agenda is a sure fire way of bringing down a culture.
An important address on all this was recently given by Stephen Baskerville. Entitled “Politicizing Potiphar’s Wife: Today’s New Ideology,” he looks especially at the sexual revolution and its harmful effects. He says, “Today’s most critical political battleground is the family, and of all the soft ideologies, the most elusive and dangerous is the one encompassing the matrix of issues involving the family, children, and sexuality.
“For well over a century – and especially over the last four decades – an agenda of sexual radicalism has exercised a growing influence over the public life of the Western world. It now constitutes a major crisis, whose dimensions we do not yet fully understand. Helen Alvare has coined the term ‘sexualityism,’ for what she describes as ‘a commitment to uncommitted, unencumbered, [and] inconsequential sex.’
“But today’s sexual agenda is much more than immorality, though it certainly begins with that, and many of the consequences are readily apparent. As a student of politics, my purpose is to focus on a less obvious danger: the loss of liberty. By examining the politics we can see precisely how sexual license is rapidly destroying true freedom.
“Following its predecessors, the Sexual Revolution’s promise of a new age of freedom is already manifesting itself as a new form of tyranny. This new ideology uses sexuality – and also its products, children – as instruments to acquire political power. Of course, sexuality has been a feature of politics since the days of Medea or Potiphar’s wife.
“But today we are seeing an old phenomenon in a new form. One scholar calls it the ‘ideology of the erotic.’ It replaces the older demand for ‘social justice’ with what is now being called ‘erotic justice.’ This ideology must be confronted in its entirety if we are to understand the enormity of what is taking place in our civilization.
“For it manifests itself differently in its confrontations with the different groups and institutions that have become the objects of its open-ended grievances: the unborn, the family, marriage, heterosexuals, religious believers, the military, and men.
“Few of these objects of resentment see their experiences as shared with others. But it does not require a religious conservative to sense that it is unhealthy for any society to have its civic life so dominated by sex as ours has now become. When sex becomes a society’s political currency, the public agenda comes to be controlled by those willing to use sexuality as a weapon to acquire power….
“The blending of sexual liberation with political ideology is starkly seen in open-ended sex ‘education’ programs. Many observe this has now reached the point of exposing children to government-authorized pornography. Less readily appreciated is that this peculiar pedagogy combines instruction in sexual technique with indoctrination in the politics of ‘gender relations.’
“The sexual awakening of children and adolescents is channelled, from the start, into political doctrines. Disturbing as these developments are, they are only the most obvious. Equally serious manifestations are much less readily recognized, and generally ignored. Yet to address this effectively, we must confront all the heads of the hydra….
“In the Western democracies, the most serious threats to religious freedom all come from demands for sexual liberation:
-preachers have been arrested for expressing views about sexual morality;
-town clerks have lost their positions for not officiating same-sex marriages;
-business owners have been put out of business for ‘discrimination’ against cohabiting couples;
-adoption agencies have been closed because they refuse to place children with same-sex couples;
-Christian firemen have been ordered to participate in sexually explicit political demonstrations that mock their religion and police to display symbols of sexual liberation in police stations;
-EU directives would allow private citizens to be looted financially for expressing their moral convictions.
“This is not likely to be the end of the pressure. Military chaplains and others are deprived of their freedom of belief and expression. The military in general is another priority target of militants. Our willingness to sexualize and feminize, and indeed emasculate, the armed forces – an institution whose existential qualities can only be described as masculine – vividly illustrates how boundless is the determination to purge our civilization of what may be the central object of the radicals’ resentment: heterosexual masculinity.”
I strongly encourage you to read his entire lecture. It is exceedingly important as we seek to understand the sexual radicals’ war on culture. If we do not understand this war, we will only see more losses, with children, family, marriage, morality and society all the victims.

You quote Helen Alvares as promoting “Inconsequential sex”. She is wrong on that score: there is no such thing.
Sex can cause conception, transmit STI’s, and fracture relationships. In EVERY case, a soul tie is created as they become one flesh, and it may be an illegitimate tie.

I don’t think you can unravel a problem by reducing it to a simple matter or Right or Left because this errs on the side of the subjective truth. You can see a problem more clearly if you look at it objectively. As Stephen Baskerville says in his address to a theology college (Politicising Potiphar’s Wife) resentments have prevailed against impersonal groups, such as the aristocracy, the bourgeoisie, the Jews, the Christian West, and Dead White Males. Michael Jones comments that since sexual liberation has social chaos as an inevitable sequel, it also begets the need for social control.
Marriage is under attack from homosexual activists, and today we learn that same sex marriages are undergoing the stresses of “the seven year itch” much like the demise of heterosexual marriages. Marriage is also under attack from feminist women who “don’t see why…..etc.” Arch feminist Betty Friedan, who wrote “The Feminine Mystique” in the Sixties, said.that marriage is a comfortable concentration camp from which women should be freed . All very well but along with broken relationships are the broken hearts of children whose mother and father are unable to live together in harmony.
Preying on the stricken casualty of Western Christian culture, laid low by all of the above, is radical Islam, which regards non-Muslims as infidels and fair game for destruction to enable their dominance.
Ultimately everyone wants to feel good about themselves but we should remember the Puritan principle “Freedom is not free”. The one way to walk tall is to walk the narrow path, paradoxically to be humble and to give, in love, to others. The out-going, giving way of life will give anyone the status, class and inner peace that we could wish for. Not the politics of envy nor the politics of pity but the love of self, of others and a sense of the Spirit of God who gave us life, that we could be saved from our wrong-doing by his Beloved Son Jesus Christ.
