When Governments Promote Evil

It is one thing for governments to acquiesce to evil – it is another thing when they actively promote evil. We are now seeing this happen throughout the Western world. Nations which used to lead the way in promoting that which is good are now led by those who are intent on promoting that which is evil.

The US and the UK are now main examples of this. Under the appalling Obama and Cameron regimes we are seeing evil championed, celebrated, endorsed and actually forced upon everyone. These two leaders are destroying their nations, and seem quite proud of it.

Let me give a few recent examples from the Obama administration. Tony Perkins of the Family Research Council offers us this frightening report on how Obama is not only promoting sodomy in the US, but around the globe as well:

“If the president doesn’t respect America’s views on marriage, what makes us think he would respect other countries? Certainly not his latest USAID project. In April, to relatively little fanfare, the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) embarked on one of the most shocking abuses of taxpayer dollars in the last five years. With help from the Levi Strauss Foundation and millionaire liberal Tim Gill, the U.S. government is spending $11 million to train homosexual activists in other countries.

“The Washington Blade, D.C.’s gay newspaper, praised the Obama administration for creating an army of international lobbyists for same-sex ‘marriage,’ anti-discrimination laws, and homosexual ‘rights’ around the world. According to USAID, the first phase of the program is focused on countries with a strong Catholic influence: Ecuador, Honduras, Guatemala, and other developing nations that oppose homosexuality.

“This week, the first in a series of USAID ‘gay trainings’ took place in Colombia, a nation specifically targeted for its rejection of same-sex ‘marriage.’ The goal, an agency spokesman says, is to teach people how to infiltrate the political process and advocate for laws that a majority of Americans, who are paying for the program, object to. ‘It can be a real game-changer in the advancement of LGBT human rights,’ she insisted. In essence, U.S. taxpayers are being forced to groom the next generation of the world’s Human Rights Campaigns – a stunning exploitation of Americans’ money, and more importantly, their trust.

“For the Obama administration, this is just another part of its strong-arm strategy to bully other nations into compliance. Whether it’s through the United Nations, U.S. embassies, or the State Department, President Obama is leading the effort to bribe and coerce poor countries into accepting his pro-homosexual agenda. Our friends at Family Watch International are urging people to get involved. They’ve released a shocking new documentary highlighting the President’s dark world of ‘Cultural Imperialism.’ Click over to their website to see a five-minute clip or the full feature. Be prepared to be outraged.”

Hey, I am outraged already, without even seeing the clip. This is outrageous indeed. Obama wants to not only destroy America, but he wants to take down the rest of the world as well. And as a major part of this, he is hell-bent on destroying marriage and family.

It is absolutely mind-boggling to see anyone, let alone the POTUS, displaying such animosity against the very building blocks of society. Yet he has actually declared war against these most fundamental social institutions. Consider this horrific headline: “DOJ: Children Do Not Need – and Have No Right to – Mothers”.

Just what are we talking about here? Nazi Germany? Soviet Russia? No, it is the new world order of Obama’s America. The article begins this way: “The Obama Justice Department is arguing in the United States Supreme Court that children do not need mothers.

“The Justice Department’s argument on the superfluity of motherhood is presented in a brief the Obama administration filed in the case of Hollingsworth v. Perry, which challenges the constitutionality of Proposition 8, the California ballot initiative that amended California’s Constitution to say that marriage involves only one man and one woman.

“The Justice Department presented its conclusions about parenthood in rebutting an argument made by proponents of Proposition 8 that the traditional two-parent family, led by both a mother and a father, was the ideal place, determined even by nature itself, to raise a child.

“The Obama administration argues this is not true. It argues that children need neither a father nor a mother and that having two fathers or two mothers is just as good as having one of each. ‘The [California] Voter Guide arguably offered a distinct but related child-rearing justification for Proposition 8: “the best situation for a child is to be raised by a married mother and father”,’ said the administration’s brief submitted to the court by Solicitor General Donald B. Verrilli Jr.”

Terence P. Jeffrey comments: “So far in the history of the human race, no child has ever been born without a biological father and mother. Now, in the Supreme Court of the United States, the Executive Branch of the federal government is arguing that, regardless of the biological facts of parenthood, states have no legitimate and defensible interest in ensuring that children conceived by a mother and a father are in fact raised by mothers and fathers.

“The brief that the Justice Department presented to the Supreme Court discussed children only as items controlled by others, not as individual human beings who have God-given rights of their own. It simply assumes that a child has no inherent right to a mother or father and that the only right truly in question is whether two people of the same-sex have a right to marry one another and that that right encompasses a right to adopt and foster-raise children.

“To take this view and be consistent with the principles of the Declaration of Independence—which recognizes the ultimate authority of the ‘Laws of Nature and Nature’s God’ and says that ‘all men are created equal’ and ‘endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights’ – the Obama Justice Department must advance the assumption that natural law and Nature’s God give children no right to a mother and father and no right not to be legally handed over by the government to be raised by same-sex couples.”

But the situation in England is hardly any better. Tory leader David Cameron has been pushing homosexual marriage with religious devotion. And that will simply make things even far worse, as this shocking headline makes clear: “Compulsory gay marriage lessons in schools”. The article opens, “Lessons on gay marriage and other same-sex relationships should be compulsory in schools, according to an amendment tabled by Labour.

“The party is demanding changes to the Children and Families Bill, which would make lessons on same-sex relationships mandatory. The amendment, due to be voted on next Tuesday, would also make issues such as consent, equality and abuse a compulsory part of the national curriculum.

“Many are concerned about the damaging effects legalising gay marriage could have on civil liberties. Leading human rights lawyer Aidan O’Neill QC wrote that parents would have no right to insist their children are withdrawn from school lessons across the curriculum that approve of same-sex marriage. He also said teachers could be forced out of their jobs if they fail to endorse gay marriage in the classroom.”

So here we have two evil regimes which have declared their utter hatred of marriage, family and children, and are doing all they can to war against them. Such moves originate in only one place: the very pit of hell. As the UK’s Chief Rabbi, Jonathan Sacks rightly said, “The fact that we have deconstructed the family – morally, psychologically, economically, politically – is the single most fateful cultural development of our times.”

And under these evil rulers it looks to be getting even worse.
