I am a lesbian but I will tell you this. I would never have children either naturally or through AI. It’s not that I think that I personally in my own life am crippled or have a problem but I don’t think it is fair to raise a child without a father and mother. I was raised with both a father and mother who have been married for over 50 years now. I am grateful for that. I do however feel that adults have a right to whatever sexual orientation they either choose or are inclined to have. Just leave children out of it.

These are the strongest possible arguments against social support for homosexuality, esp. because they depend on common observation, common experience, and common sense. All you have to do is ask people, “Did you have a good mother?” If the answer is yes, then ask “Well, isn’t it obvious that your growing-up experience would have been radically different if you just had your father and another man around the house?”

Dear Bill,
Children are our future, how we value them protect and raise them, determines their outlook on life and their future.
We are failing our children not to stand against inappropriate behaviour towards or including them. We have a God given responsibility to stand up for them to be a voice for the children born and unborn. Our national leadership are responsible for the future generation more than they are acknowledging, lack of action to protect our children is not good enough. Thank the Lord that there are people out there will to follow their convictions and speak up for our children.

I agree totally with Teresa: children have been reduced to “goods and services” which may well be denied to those who do not toe the homosexual line, ie., they will have their children or grandchildren taken and given to homosexuals.

With double vision, double speech and double mindedness Jack Straw, the Lord Chancellor and Secretary of State for Justice in Britain is central in trying to overturn an amendment, made last year to the Incitement to homophobic hatred clause of the Coroners and Justice Bill. A new clause, clause 58, will silence all criticism of homosexual behaviour by threatening those brave enough to open their mouths with a possible seven year prison sentence.

On the Today Programme 4 November 1998, Mr Straw said: “I’m not in favour of gay couples seeking to adopt children because I question whether that is the right start in life. We should not see children as trophies. Children, in my judgement, and I think it’s the judgement of almost everyone including single parents, are best brought up where you have two natural parents in a stable relationship. There’s no question about that. What we know from the evidence is that, generally speaking, that stability is more likely to occur where the parents are married than where they are not.”

Clearly Mr Straw no longer believes that children need to be brought up in a stable relationship as typified for the last two thousands by the heterosexual, monogamous and enduring relationship that he alludes to as “marriage”

There is no love here. The child is purely a commodity. I don’t know why they didn’t take the child away from these selfish women, rather than rob taxpayers (hard working mums and dads, balancing family and work) of such a large sum of money. There are no words to describe these selfish women, and their selfish story will go un-noticed with the bushfire news.

Homosexual relations are not marriage.
There is no normal in homosexual relations.
We do not endorse wrong.
Same-sex couples do not have a right to any laws or entitlements that men and women living in a committed lifelong marriage do.There is not good reason to make it easier for these people.
